In Folge 40 des Borussia Dortmund Fan Club London Podcasts ist unser Gast Felix Götze.
Der 23-jährige gebürtige Dortmunder und bekennender BVB-Fan, der "kein Spiel der Schwarz-Gelben" verpasst, ist ein Produkt der BVB-Akademie "Hohenbuschei", wo er von der U14 bis zur U17 spielte, bevor er 2016 zu Bayern München wechselte.
Der deutsche Verteidiger ist derzeit vom FC Augsburg an den Drittligisten Traditionsklub 1. FC Kaiserslautern ausgeliehen.
Von 2011-2015 spielte Felix in der Akademie von Borussia Dortmund in den Altersklassen U14-U17, bevor er zu Bayern München wechselte.
Bei den Bayern schaffte es der heute 23-Jährige einen Platz in der ersten Mannschaft zu bekommen und gewann 2017/18 den Bundesliga-Titel und den Supercup. In der Saison 2018/9 wechselte er dann zum FC Augsburg. Dort machte er 53 Spiele und erzielte 11 Tore.
Felix, der allzu oft bekannt ist der jüngerer Bruder von Mario zu sein ist ein Talent das sich auch die Berufung in die deutsche U19- und U20-Nationalmannschaft verdient hat.

On today's show, a Champions League preview, looking ahead to the Ajax match on Wednesday, our guest is former Borussia Dortmund offensive midfielder, who also played as a centre-forward Cedric van der Gun.
The former BVB number 16 is now a coach who has worked in the academy as the U17 coach with Ajax the club he played for and with which he won the Eredivisie title in 01/02.
The 6-time U21 Netherlands international is also remembered for his two seasons with Swansea City (09-11) with which he achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2011/12.

On today's show, the interview guest is Sunday Oliseh between 2000-04 Defensive midfielder with Borussia and a 63 time Nigeria international. Sunday played started his career in Nigeria before moving to Belgium in 1990 to play for RFC Liege before gaining a contract in Italy with Reggiana.
In 1995 Oliseh gained a contract in the Bundesliga with 1 FC Köln. In 1997 the 54 Nigeria international moved to the Eredivisie to play for Ajax where he played 54 times and scored 9 goals.
In 1999 Italian record champions Juventus came calling a star-studded midfield including Zinedine Zidane and Edgar Davids proved a disappointment for the then 26-year-old.
From 2000 four successful years in Dortmund followed including the Meisterschaft 2001-2 and the club reached the UEFA Cup final. In 2003/4 a loan to VFL Bochum followed where the club reached a European place for the first time in the club's history. Oliseh finished his career in the Jupiter Pro league in Belgium with 4-time champions KRC Genk.
Oliseh earned 63 caps for his country of birth Nigeria including playing at the FIFA World Cup tournaments of USA 1994 and France 1998 and at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic games where the 'Super Eagles' won the gold medal.
Following his active career Oliseh achieved his coaching licence in Belgium. Highlights of his coaching career are managing the Nigeria national team in 2015/16 and Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands in 2017/18.
Oliseh is now a regular commentator on Belgian and Nigerian television.

Unser Gast ist heute Massimo Mariotti, Mariotti spielte zwischen 1981-1999 bei FC Biel, Viktoria Köln, Rimini und den MSV Duisburg als Verteidiger.
2003 wurde der heute 59 jähriger Jugendtrainer bei Borussia Dortmund wo er bis in die U23 aufstieg und dort als Co-Trainer von David Wagner arbeitete.
Mariotti wurde anschliessend ab 2012/13 Vereinsdolmetscher bei Borussia Dortmund unter Jürgen Klopp und arbeitete auch mit Peter Bosz und Thomas Tuchel.
2018 wechselte Mariotti zu VFB Stuttgart (18/19) gefolgt von 19/20 zu Schalke 04.

Bonus show with VFB Stuttgart centreforward Hamadi Al Ghaddioui.
Hamadi came through the BVB II academy at Hohenbuschei in the Dortmund suburb of Brackel. The now 30-year-old got off to a highly promising start in season 2016-17 scoring an impressive 19 goals in 33 matches.
His career then took the 1.93m striker to SC Verl and Sportfreunde Lotte in the third tier.
In season 18-19 Hamadi joined newly promoted Jahn Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga where he scored 11 goals in 38 matches.
Since 2019/20 the 30-year-old, whose parents migrated to Germany from Morroco in the 1970s, has been a striker with 5-time Bundesliga champions VFB Stuttgart.
Since joining 'Die Schwaben' (The Swabians in German) as VFB are affectionately known by their fans, Al Ghaddioui has scored 8 goals in 31 matches.
The highlight of his career was scoring the 1-0 winning goal in front of 24,000 spectators against Hansa Rostock in the DFB Pokal first round in his first season in 18-19. Contents:

Unser Gast ist heute Knut Reinhardt, 'Knuuuuuuuut' wie er von uns Fans liebevoll gerufen wurde, spielte beim BVB mit der Rückennummer 2. Er begann sein Laufbahn beim TuS 05 Quettingen und wechselte als d-Jugendlicher zu Bayer 04 Leverkusen und wurde wenig später deutscher A-Junioren-Meister.
In dieser Zeit war er zudem für verschiedene Nachwuchsnationalmannschaften des DFB aktiv und wurde 1987 mit der U-20 Vize-Weltmeister. 1988 gewann der defensive Mittelfeldspieler mit Bayer Leverkusen den UEFA-Cup und kam im selben Jahr zu seinem ersten Länderspiel für die deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft. Insgesamt kam er in seiner Karriere bis 1992 auf sieben Einsätze im Nationalteam.
Im Europapokal brachte es der Mittelfeldspieler auf insgesamt 50 Einsätze. 1991 verließ Reinhardt Leverkusen und wechselte zum BVB. Mit dem BVB wurde er 1995 und 1996 Deutscher Meister und gewann 1997 die Champions League und den Weltpokal. Nachdem er in Dortmund immer weniger zum Einsatz kam, wechselte er 1998 in die zweite Liga zum 1.FC Nürnberg wo er seine Karriere 2000 beendete.
Co-moderator in der Sendung heute ist Stephan Kordt, geboren in Dortmund lebt der zweimalige Familien Vater seit 20 Jahre in Las Vegas, USA von wo er seine lebenslange liebe zum BVB nachgeht - Kordt ist, obwohl er in den USA lebt, seit 30 Jahre dauerkarteninhaber auf der Südtribüne in Block 14.

Ben Ambrose is the host of 'Norwich Talk' the Norwich City podcast and a season ticket holder of many years at Carrow Road, the home of 'The Canaries' or 'Die Kanarienvögel' in German as the club's logo is depicted on a special edition T-shirt with a nod to the recent Bundesliga and BVB influence on the East of England based club founded in 1902.
Founded in 1902 the 2 time League Cup winners in 1962 and 85, City also 5-time winners of the second-tier title (Championship, formerly 2.Division) and play their football at the 27,359 seater at the magnetic 'Carrow road' stadium.
